At **ALL MODERN RUGS**, we understand that choosing the right rug can be a bit of a process. That's why we offer our Try it At Home service, allowing you to try out your new rug in the comfort of your own home.

If you decide the rug isn't quite right for you, simply contact us within 14 days of receiving it, and we'll arrange a hassle-free return.

We offer FREE RETURN SHIPPING for all metro and most areas Australia wide—just be sure to treat the rug gently and return it in its original, unused condition.

Important: Regional Areas

For customers in **regional areas**, we **do accept returns**, but **return shipping costs will be the customer's responsibility**. Please plan accordingly.


If you do need to return your rug, it will be inspected upon arrival at our warehouse to ensure it meets our return criteria. If it passes inspection, we will process a full refund to your original payment method within **7 days**.

If you'd like to exchange your rug for a different one, simply return it and place a new order.

Exceptions & Conditions

  • Our returns policy **may vary for trade accounts**.
  • Certain products such as **underlays, bath mats, and indoor mats cannot be returned**.
  • Products marked as "NO RETURNS" are **not eligible for free returns**.
  • If your rug is **faulty**, you may return it within 14 days of purchase for a full refund or replacement, provided it is returned in its original, unused, and undamaged condition.

Fair Use Policy

While you can purchase as many rugs as you like, we will only accept two rugs for return within a 30-day period with full refund eligibility.

If you return a rug and place a new order within 30 days, you will only be eligible for **one additional return**. You must then wait 30 days after your most recent order to be eligible for further returns on new orders.

How to Return Your Item

For unwanted goods and faulty or damaged items that can be returned by post, please contact us to notify us of your return and the reason for it.

You must take reasonable care of the goods and return them securely packaged and in saleable condition (except damaged goods) at your **own expense**, to the Returns Address we provide.

Once we receive your return, a replacement product will be shipped to you promptly.

  • Please note that all purchases made through Afterpay will incur a 10% non-refundable fee if the transaction is canceled.
