SALES & REFUND POLICY

At All Modern Rugs, our first priority is making sure you're genuinely happy with your rug. We back every purchase with a straightforward returns process, so you can shop with confidence.

  1. Change of Mind Returns

You have 7 days from the date you receive your order to request a return.

To start a return, email us at info@allmodern.design with your order number and reason for return. Let us know in the same email if you'd prefer an exchange rather than a refund.

Once your return is approved, we'll arrange a return label and courier pickup, generally within 2 to 3 business days.

Returns are free of charge for standard delivery areas.

If your delivery postcode falls within one of our Exclusive Zones (see section 5 and the full postcode list at the end of this policy), that return is not included in our free returns offer. Return freight for these areas is quoted individually; contact us before booking a return and we'll confirm the applicable charge with you first.

Once we receive and inspect the returned rug, refunds are processed within 7 business days, back to your original payment method. Approved exchanges are dispatched on the same timeline.

  1. Return Condition Requirements

To qualify for a refund or exchange under this policy, your rug must be:

Unused and free of any signs of wear, soiling, or damage; and

Repackaged as closely as possible to the condition in which it was delivered, using the original packaging wherever you still have it.

Note: Returns that do not meet the above condition will not be accepted or processed. Please repack your rug carefully before handing it to the courier.

  1. Colour & Shade Variation

We do our best to represent every rug accurately online, but screen displays and room lighting can affect how colours appear. Minor variation between product photos and the physical rug is normal and is not considered a fault or grounds for return on its own. If you're unsure before purchasing, please contact us. We're happy to talk through it or send additional photos.

  1. Damaged or Faulty Products

Please inspect your rug as soon as it arrives. If anything looks wrong or damaged, contact us straight away by phone or email. The sooner we know, the faster we can arrange an assessment, repair, replacement, or refund.

Where we cannot supply a replacement of equal value and type, we will offer a full refund. Nothing in this policy limits your rights under the Australian Consumer Law.

Note: Natural fibre rugs are individual by nature. Variation in colour, size, and weave, along with occasional sprouted or trimmed wool yarns from the weaving process, are normal characteristics of these products rather than faults, and are not accepted as grounds for a return on that basis alone.

  1. Exclusive Zones

Some delivery areas fall outside our standard freight network. We call these our Exclusive Zones: postcodes where freight is quoted live and confirmed at the time of dispatch, rather than charged at our standard flat rate.

If your order was delivered to a postcode within an Exclusive Zone, the free returns offer in section 1 does not apply. Returns from these areas will incur additional freight charges. Contact us before booking a return from an Exclusive Zone postcode and we will confirm the applicable charge with you first.
